This is so cool to see. I wasn't alive in the 80's but i love so much about the 80's. Its so cool to see what my hometown looked like 14 years before i was born.

Larry Lujack was my ex-wife's Uncle. I spent much time with him and Jude at their house in Santa Fe. I never knew how famous he was because to us he was just "Larry" in his ripped up jeans. He sure never acted like a big shot which shows his true character and they treated me great.

I was 9 years old when they made this video. I went to Oakville, torn down, and Mayfield high school. This is how I remember the area. We used to shop at all these stores. Golden Gate, I would skate there, opened up my first savings account as a kid at the bank, shopped at Uncle Bill and got my comics all the time at Fox drug. I still have some of those comics. I worked at Zayre in high school. We all rode our bikes up and down Mayfield. So much fun. I moved to Phoenix 20 years ago, went back for a funeral 5 years ago, and the whole area was just crap now.

These were absolutely prolific. Very high tech for the time, and unique to the point it was highly distinguishable from all other luxury cars out there at the time. Probably the most groundbreaking feature about this car was the fact that it was so small, unlike anything else that came before it. Yet it was as luxurious and comfortable as you would expect from a luxury sedan. I’m a diehard Cadillac enthusiast, but am happy to tip my hat to the mid-to-late 80’s New Yorker. You saw these *everywhere,* and they were marvelous.

My freshman year at OSU was 1993 and this brings back such memories! The last time I was in the campus area was 2015 and, aside from most of the buildings around the Oval and good old Denny Hall, it was almost completely unrecognizable...the Union, the Library...even most of North Campus aside from Taylor/Jones/Drackett Towers...all changed. Guess that's what they mean when they say you can't go home again. Thank you for sharing a piece of home with us.

I miss the days when there was only White music or no music at all, and it could be contained without being miles away. This was the norm in the 80's. You rarely heard music unless it was at tail-gate parties or on the beach from a boombox radio. No one really had car stereos, and the nightmare began when they did this in the 90's. The 90's was the WORST generation because they had lame movies, awful music, riots and disturbances increased, and people will easily fed on propaganda leading up to 9/11, and it continued on 20-30 years and after. '86 was the best of days. It lasted up until the end of '88, and by '89, everyone knew what was coming...the 1980's were the best and the last of everything. :( This was before Chemtrails and you had clean air and clear skies. The most you had to worry about them spraying was DDT, but now they spray nanoparticles on you and nightmarish things that can only be defined as "progress"...but wasn't. It was enslavement.

Remember when Morse Road wasn't littered with pawn shops, smoke shops and liquor stores? Halcyon days indeed.
